Our Sporting Achievements
Celebration St Josephs Sporting Events
This year we have again been awarded the Gold games mark.

Please see below for some of our latest sporting achievements.
Autumn Term
Cross Country Running
A huge well done to our Key Stage 2 pupils this morning. They represented St Joseph's beautifully at the Walsall Games Cross Country Running event at Aldridge outdoor centre. They ran well and with excellent determination, to achieve some wonderful results including a third place win amongst them! 400 children competed in the event, with 50-90 in each year groups race. A great achievement.
A big thank you to the families who made it to support them today too, we were very grateful for the support.
Swimming Gala
Some of our year 5 and 6 pupils attended a Swimming Gala at Walsall baths. They were able to demonstrate their competence and skills when using a range of different swimming strokes. They cheered each other on and worked well on the team relay event. Well done!
Spring Term
Girls Football Competition
Our Year 5 and 6 girls represented our school yesterday in an interschool football competition at the Streetly Academy.
They were, as expected, brilliant role models for our school in their conduct throughout the event and they worked well as a team to encourage and support each other.
The girls worked hard to get over their nerves and were thrilled to score a goal in their final match of the evening. Good job girls! We are very proud of you.
Some of our Year 3 and 4 pupils went along to Streetly Academy in order to take part in a multiskills inspire event. They took part in a range of activities such as golf, archery and balls skills. As always our pupils performed brilliantly and made us very proud.
