Making bread at St Thomas More
Year 3 went up to St Thomas More for a bread making workshop.
When they arrived, they were given some health and safety tips, including getting their hands washed.Then they weighed and added their flour, yeast, salt and sugar into a mixing bowl.
The children then added water and began creating their yeast! After that they kneaded the dough they created the shape they wanted for their bread.
The last part was to bake them and they came out fantastically well - I just hope the children enjoy their the bread! Thank you to the staff at St Thomas More.
