Y6 Blists Hill Visit

Year 6 visited Blists Hill , a Victorian Town, as part of their history topic. They had the opportunity to visit real Victorian houses and shops such as a working bakery, sweet shop and bank. 🍞🍬💰 The children learnt amazing facts from each area they visited and asked lots of inquisitive questions. ❓❓ In the afternoon, the children took part in a Victorian classroom workshop, where they had to complete the 3 R's - reading, writing and arithmetic. Even though it was a bit different to their learning today, the children were amazing and showed their great skills. 📝✏️➗➕ The children were commented on by several members of staff and the public about their brilliant behaviour, manners and knowledge. They were excellently behaved throughout the whole day and showed St Joseph's in a fantastic light. Well done Year 6! 💡😄
