World Book Day 2026
We had a lot of fun celebrating world book day today. We read lots of stories with our friends, we listened to stories read by our teachers and Mrs Machin found a CD player for us to listen to some audiobooks on CD. We also did some fun book activities such as a story character hunt in our outdoor area.

OneLife Lent Retreat Day

Planting in our outdoor area
Our topic this half term is 'Growing'
To support learning, we have been planting Daffodils and Primrose flowers in our planters in the outdoor play area in reception.
We have also been reading the story, Jack and the beanstalk as part of our literacy.
The children also planted their very own "Beanstalks".
We talked about what the beans will need to grow and we need to remember to water them everyday.
