We had a day of celebration for Chinese New Year. We did lots of fun activities such as:
Chinese number painting
Retelling the story of the great race
Tasting some Chinese foods
"Gong Xi Fa Cai!"
"Congratulations and be prosperous"

Number day
We had a fantastic day in reception today.
We took part in number day. We dressed up in our number outfits (our teachers dressed up as number blocks) and we did lots of fun maths activities such as counting games and number art.

Visiting church ⛪️
Today, we went to church to learn more about baptism with Father Craig.
We took part in some of the beautiful traditions and significance of this sacred rite.

The police came to visit 👮
Today, the police came to visit reception as part of our people who help us unit.
We asked questions such as:
Do you have a police dog?
What equipment do you have?
Do you drive a police car?
