Every class at our wonderful school turned out the lights and switched off all electrical devices for an hour today and reflected on their use of energy and how this affects our world. 🌏
December 2022 - Communication with parents
As a school community, we continue to look for ways to 'Live Simply' and sustainably. We know that giving Christmas cards spreads a great deal of joy but we also think now is a good time to reflect on whether we could reduce the number of Christmas cards that get sent into school each year. We want to protect God's wonderful creation - the world we live in, for the children in our school and for many more generations to come. We have some alternative suggestions to consider below... and in helping to save the planet, they might also save you some money too! We are not trying to spoil anyone's fun... and the decision is entirely up to you!
