Year 1
Year 1 took part in a sound workshop from The School of Noise. The children played all kinds of instruments and also added sound effects to videos.
In science, Year 1 planted tomato slices as part of our science learning about plants.
In science today, Year One were learning all about Evergreen and Deciduous trees. The children learnt that Evergreen trees keep their leaves all year round, whereas Deciduous trees lose their leaves in the Autumn time. To demonstrate this, one group of children were the Evergreen trees and the other group were Deciduous trees who lost their leaves when Auumn came. Well done Year 1
In science this afternoon, Year 1 were learning all about invertebrates. We were lucky enough to be able to meet some intvertebrates and even hold some. We talked about insects and crustaceans.
