Science
At St Joseph's, we love Science and we enjoy learning about a range of science topics. We look at Chemistry, Biology and Physics within our science lessons and our learning objectives are taken from the National Curriculum. In our learning, we learn about a different scientist in each of our modules and also different experiments to enhance our learning.
Our science topics change every half term and we encourage science trips throughout the year.
As a school, we achieved our PSQM award to celebrate all the wonderful science activities and learning in our classrooms!
Recently, staff and children were asked what they enjoy about science and what science looks like in our school. We decided on the 5 most important values and aims of science in our school.
