21-22 achievements and School Visits

Our Year 6 class are not only talented singers; they also play a range of musical instruments really well too! They have been working on 4 pieces of music to play for their Level 4 London College of Music exam. This medley of songs by Queen is their favourite piece.smiley

Year 6 will be representing the school at the Walsall Junior Singing Festival on Friday. Here they are rehearsing 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley. We're sure they'll do a great job... smileyyes

Year 5 had the opportunity to visit the Symphony Hall in Birmingham to watch a special performance by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The children were fascinated by the whole experience; they enjoyed seeing such a wide range of instruments played by  musicians and listening to pieces of music by different composers with the theme of 'The Natural World.'🎡🎼🎻🎹πŸ₯πŸ˜€

Our children really do have so much musical talent.


Last years, Year 6 worked so hard in their lessons with Miss Ridley that at the end of the year they took their Level 4 London College of Music Exam ( the equivalent to an AS level! 😁)


We finally know their final result ...


.... drum roll please ....... 


they passed with an incredible DISTINCTION!!  The highest grade possible! πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸŽΌπŸŽΉ 


We were SO proud of them!
