10.10.22 Science. We conducted a class experiment to see whether objects floated, sank or absorbed water. We found that the plastic cup floated without water, the metal rod sank and many more. Well done year 1!
Autumn, term 1
7.10.22. Children from Year 1 opened a fruit and vegetable shop. In order to purchase their snack, children had to find out a plastic 1p coin from class. This helps the children enhance their money skills. Well done Year 1!

Phonics
English learning. In our English lessons, we are focusing on remembering our capital letters and full stops. However, some of our class strived for excellence and added some adjectives for extra detail.
We love maths bingo in Year 1! Maths bingo helps us to recognise our numbers to ten and look at different ways numbers are presented.
