Today Year 5 had the privilege of meeting Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu, who works for NASA, on a Zoom call. They learned about the work he is doing using Science, Maths, Engineering and Technology to explore Mars. They learned about the Mars rovers and how we can find out what Mars is like from Earth. Year 5 were challenged to design a robot inspired by nature to go to Mars. They were also able to ask Ashitey questions about space, NASA and the future of space travel and robotics.

In RE we have dramatised ideas around temptation when thinking about Jesus being in the desert and thinking about how we are tempted to make bad choices.

In February, we visited Symphony Hall in Birmingham to hear and see the CBSO perform. We really enjoyed the variety of music and learned about the different parts that make up an orchestra.
