In Year 1, we have been learning all about The Animal Kingdom. Today, we have some special visitors in our classroom to teach the children all about reptiles and mammals. Well done Year 1☺️.

In RE today, Year 1 discussed how Jesus is the light in our lives and he gives us hope. The children took it in turns to become guides at the front and guide other children down the right path, like Jesus. Then, some of the children had to close their eyes and be guided by their leaders. The children then said that Jesus is with us through our darkness too. Well done Year 1!

13.1.23 Digital Painting - Today we looked at the artist Piet Mondrian and line work.
Year 1 had a fantastic day at Dudley Zoo and Castle. We learnt all about habitats and adaptions. We then walked around the zoo and saw lots of animals. Our favourite was Jim the baby Orangutan! 🦧 Well done Year 1!
