 Geography🌍

At St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, all students study Geography.  We believe that an understanding of Geography is important for all children, regardless of their age or stage of learning.  Geography introduces children to the world around them. It helps them understand maps, different places, and the physical features of Earth. Through geography, students learn about continents, countries, oceans, climates, and cultures, fostering a sense of curiosity and global awareness.

Through our love for Geography, we inspire children to explore the world and consider exciting vocations. They may become explorers, passionate meteorologists who unravel weather mysteries, skilled pilots navigating the skies, or volcanologists studying Earth's fiery wonders. By fostering their curiosity and appreciation for geographical locations, we hope to ignite their passion for exploration and scientific discovery, shaping the next generation of adventurers.

The subject leader for Geography is Miss Perry.
