Poetry fun in Year Two

Over the next few weeks, Year 2 will be writing some poetry based on The Garden Year by Sara Coleridge. 🌸🌻 In our lesson today, children predicted what they thought the poem would be about based on the title. They then learnt about the vocabulary in the poem before we read it tomorrow. Then worked together as a group to match the words to the correct meaning.
