Christmas Wishes Trip 🧑🎄
We have had a lovely day today on our Christmas trip.
We have had a lot of fun doing different Christmassy activities such as:
🤶 making bird feeders
🤶 making a paper Christmas tree
🤶 writing letters to Santa
🤶 making reindeer food
We were on our best behaviour too, we think Santa will be pleased.

Christmas dinner
We had very yummy Christmas dinner today at school.
It was very exciting to have Christmas music and crackers.

Nursery, you did some super singing and dancing in the nativity!

Advent stay and pray 💜
Well done nursery for sitting so nicely during our stay and pray today.
You all made lovely bambinelli and did lovely prayers.

Light boards
On Monday, Mrs Hannett brought us some light up boards to practice our writing skills on them. We have enjoyed using them to practice our mark making in literacy and even practicing our number formation in maths.

☃️❄️ A Snowy Day ❄️☃️
What a fun snowy chilly day! We did a lot of learning outside.
In maths today, we have been making AB patterns with our handprints and our footprints in the snow.
For our literacy lesson today, we read the story we’re going on a bear hunt and then we went outside to explore our very own snowstorm.

After all that learning, we even found time to play and build a little tiny snowman.

Monday 11th November, 2024
Today we have been learning about the importance of remembrance day. We have talked about the soldiers, the air force and the navy seals. We have been making paper poppies and finger painting poppies to help us remember.
We also had a very peaceful prayer and liturgy time where we reflected, prayed for the people who fought for us and listened to the last post.

🎆 Diwali day 🎆
Today is Diwali day in Early Years!
We have been having so much fun doing our Diwali activities.
We have been:
🪔 Painting fireworks
🪔 Colouring Diwali pictures
🪔 Making rangoli patterns with paint dabbers and rangoli paint
We also tried some different foods such as Samosas.

We have had a very busy week this week with lots of activities for Autumn, Bonfire night, Little red hen and more but we haven’t forgotten to fit in some outdoor fun.
