Author visit to Year 1 & 2

Author Kathy Tallentire visited our Year 1 and Year 2 classes last week. She read her book, 'The Whisker Twitchers' to the class and talked about the process she goes through of writing books.

She spoke to the class about how they could change the characters in the story to make it their own. The children came up with some amazing ideas about what changes they could make.

To finish the session, Kathy read another one of her books, 'Rescue Me', which the children thoroughly enjoyed. The children were all delighted when they were given their own copy of 'The Whisker Twitchers' to take home!
