Year 5 trip Oak House

Year 5 had a fantastic trip to Oak House in West Bromwich today. They immersed themselves in Tudor culture - playing the roles of either rich or poor children preparing for a wedding banquet for the House Master's daughter. The children behaved impeccably well and engaged beautifully with their roles, really feeling the emotions and expectations of children at the time. They then had some well-deserved play time on the playground and had a tour of the house. It was a fabulous day in the sunshine, a great time had by all. The children, as always, were a credit to St Joseph's.
