Year 6 visit to St Chad's Cathedral in Birmingham

Year 6 visited St Chad's Cathedral in Birmingham today. They enjoyed learning more about the Sacrament of Confirmation, the History of the cathedral and the role of Archbishop Bernard.

Following their tour, the class joined the cathedral parishioners and other visitors for Mass. Three of our Year 6 pupils who are all regular altar servers at St Joseph's Church, Darlaston in the St. John Henry Newman Parish served reverently and respectfully.

The cathedral guides were very impressed by the children's knowledge, understanding and behaviour and our staff are incredibly proud of them all. Well done Year 6, you are a credit to St. Joseph's.
