In Maths, Year 1 have been busy exploring the number 6! Today, the children took their learning outside to collect 6 items each. When they returned, they practiced partitioning the number 6 into two parts, discovering different ways to make 6. Great job, Year 1
28.6.23 In Maths, the children rotated around the room and revised different aspects of maths including shape, times tables and counting to 100.
In maths, Year 1 took part in a time inspired scavenger hunt.
Year 1 children have had a lovely afternoon with their parents during our 'Board Games and Cafe afternoon'. This focused on our maths skills such as counting, balancing, addition and subtraction. Everyone enjoyed playing games with their parents and really enjoyed a game of Bingo! Thank you all that came along. Well done Year 1! ☺️
