Congratulations Assembly!
Fri 28 May 2021Well done to these children who stood out for their excellent work this week. Miss Edwards and Mrs Morris both found it too difficult to choose just a couple of children for the compassionate and loving award so they both picked their whole class! We are very lucky to have such kind children at St Joseph's.

Environment Dome
Thu 27 May 2021Today the children from Years 1 -6 all spent time in the 'Environment Dome' learning about rainforests, food webs, animal adaptation, extinction and the effects of climate change. They had a fantastic day learning about the importance of looking after our world in a fun way.

Year 5 Design & Technology
Thu 27 May 2021In Design and Technology, Year 5 have been busy designing a healthy snack using fruit, cereal and yoghurt. Yum!

Pentecost
Thu 27 May 2021In their RE lessons last week and this week, the children across the school have been learning about Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. Here are Nursery and Year 1 enjoying their learning.

Rounders Tournament fun
Thu 27 May 2021Well done to our Year 5 and 6 children who represented the school so well at the Walsall Schools Rounders tournament yesterday. They played 3 matches- won two of them and lost the third by just half a rounder! They played brilliantly and were a credit to the school and their families in the way they behaved.

May Devotion to Our Lady
Wed 26 May 2021Today was a VERY special day... it was the first time our school community has been able to praise and worship together in a VERY long time. We were very grateful for the dry weather, which meant we could keep our distance from each other and still pray together as a whole school. A huge thank you to all the families who provided the flowers to honour Our Lady and to Fr Craig for helping us with our May Devotion today.

Year One gardeners
Sun 23 May 2021We have some very 'green fingered' Year One children - they planted bean and sunflower seeds a few weeks ago and have been caring for their seedlings in their classroom. This week they planted them outside. We can't wait to see how tall they will grow!
