    Congratulations to all children who have stood out to their teachers this week. We are delighted to see so many children growing to be faith-filled and hopeful and impressing the staff with their excellent work. Keep up the hard work, children!

  • Year 6 - Micro:bit coding

    Year 6 enjoyed their computing this week, learning how to code a Micro:bit.

  • Reception Class visit to Rays Farm

    Reception class visited Rays Farm this week. They walked through the Fairy-tale forest spotting characters from the stories and Nursery rhymes they have learned. They saw lots of different animals and enjoyed feeding and stroking some of them. They learned that a baby goat is called a kid when they met 2 day old Jonah. They also found out more about Owls - they know that owls are nocturnal. The children were fascinated by an owl that looked like a monkey and Betty the pig who sits on command!

  • Year 1 visit 'Conkers'.

    Year 1 visited 'Conkers' this week. They enjoyed looking at the plants and learning about different types of seed dispersal.

  • Year Two seaside fun at St. Joseph's.

    Year Two have been learning about the seaside in Geography - the class may not have made it to the coast today but a little bit of seaside fun came to St. Joseph's. The children had great fun paddling, building sandcastles, burying their feet in the sand, fishing and playing with beach balls.

  • Year 3 Design & Technology

    Our Year 3 children have been learning about 'Dips and Dippers' in Design & Technology. They enjoyed taste testing different ingredients and designed a healthy snack, before preparing it carefully. They enjoyed eating them and now just need to evaluate their designs. Well done Year 3!

  • Walk to school week

    Last week was 'Walk to school week'. We learnt about the benefits of walking, cycling or scooting to school on our physical and mental health. Well done to everyone who took part. Here are a some our Year 4 children who travelled actively to school every day last week with their certificates.
