  • Y2 growing investigation

    Year 2 are conducting an ‘observation over time’ experiment to explore what conditions plants need in order to grow.Children made predictions about which seeds they think will grow best. Over the next few weeks they will be observing them to see what happens.

  • Swimming superstars!

    Congratulations to our Year 5 pupils for ALL achieving a swimming badge a certificate last half term. They have made fantastic progress and should be very proud of their achievements. We were delighted to award them their badges and certificates this morning during assembly.

  • Mass on Sunday

    It was lovely to see all these children at 8.30am Sunday Mass yesterday at St. Joseph's church. Well done and thank you to the children who led the readings, intercessions and offertory procession.

  • Nursery enjoying their learning about 'Oliver's Vegetables'

    The children in Nursery have been reading the story 'Oliver's Vegetables'. They have enjoyed retelling the story, looking at the different vegetables and best of all... tasting them! Well done Nursery!

  • Music making fun in Nursery!

    The children in Nursery have been having lots of fun making instruments to play together in their own band!

  • Year 3 play French games

    During their French lesson, Year 3 played a version of the traditional French parlour game, jeu de l’oie (goose game), using the activity jeu de l’oie – colour. Not only will this help the children really consolidate their learning of the numbers it will also help them revise their colour words from the previous learning. Fantastique!

  • Reading rewards!

    Congratulations to all the children who achieved their reading target last half term! They were all awarded a golden coin for the book vending machine this morning and enjoyed choosing a book to take home and keep. Well done children!

  • The ducklings have names!

    Reception have all been thinking hard about what to call the ducklings today - it was very tricky! Everyone in class suggested a name and then the children voted to decide.

    The votes are in and have been counted. We are delighted to announce that the ducklings are called Oreo, Daisy, Rosie, Ben and Webster!

  • Learning about plants and trees in our school grounds

    This half term Year 2 are learning all about plants in Science. In their lesson this week, the children found out about the parts of a plant and tree. They then went outside to record and observe the plants and trees in our school grounds.
