  • Reading superstars are rewarded!

    Every single one of these children achieved their reading target this half term! They all received a golden coin and used it to get a book from our fabulous vending machine as a reward. Well done children!

  • Mathmagician Day in school

    We had a fabulous day in school, celebrating 'Mathsmagician Day'. The children moved around different classes, taking part in lots of fun mathematical challenges.

  • Firefighters surprise Reception class

    Reception had a wonderful surprise visit this morning. West Midlands Fire Service came to visit and brought their fire engine. The children asked lots of questions and enjoyed finding out more about the role of a fire fighter. 😃

  • Y6 visit to St Chad's Cathedral

    Our Year 6 pupils visited St. Chad's Cathedral today and were joined online by our family of other schools. Canon Michael Leadbeater spoke to us all about the importance of young people using their voice to affect change and protect God's world.   • Y4 Origami using recycled scrap paper

    Year 4 used Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding with scrap paper to create a recycled art piece. Each origami got progressively more difficult and the children persevered hard with them all. They then painted each origami a colour of the rainbow ready for them to be assembled altogether as a rainbow mobile. Well done, Year 4

  • Pizza making in Year 6!

    In their cooking and nutrition lessons for DT, Year 6 have been looking at pizzas. They have learnt how cheese is made, looked at the different food groups and healthy options for pizza. Today, they designed and made their own pizzas with Aspens. The pizzas all looked delicious and the children had a fabulous time. Once they have eaten them, they will evaluate them and design their own pizza boxes. Well done Year 6!

  • Potato planting!
