  • Hard workers to the very end of term!

    Congratulations to the many children who achieved a gold coin today for their excellent efforts, work and behaviour right up to the end of this very hot and busy term! Enjoy reading your books children! Don't worry ... that vending machine will be restocked ready for September!

  • Leavers' Assembly Presentation

  • ST. JOSEPH'S ACHIEVES GOLD!

    Fantastic news to start the last day of term ..St. Joseph's has achieved the Gold School Games Mark! The School Games Mark recognises the school’s engagement (provision and uptake) in School Games against a national benchmark and to celebrate keeping young people active, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success! A big thank you to Mr Davies, our PE coach and Mrs Corfield, our PE leader for all their hard work in helping us to achieve this award.

  • Ocean and seaside fun!

    Last week our Reception and Year 1 children had a special day learning about the Oceans and the seaside. They had LOTS of fun!

  • Key stage Two Behaviour Reward Day!

    Early this morning, before it got too hot, the Key Stage Two children who achieved 170 Golden Reward Stamps this year, were treated to their rewards! They had a fantastic time on this huge inflatable assault course followed by ice lollies to help them cool down! Well done to all children who achieved 170 stamps this year for your excellent behaviour, hard work and attitudes to learning! I wonder who will get 170 stamps next year?

     

  • Year 5 make fruit yoghurt desserts in DT

    Year 5 completed making their Fruit Yoghurt desserts in DT. They had great fun chopping and slicing and arranging the fruits in the yoghurts following their designs.

  • Year One Oceans Day

    Our Year One children have been learning about the Oceans of the world in Geography. Today they are having a special 'Ocean Day'. The children have been working hard and are very proud of the ‘Save the Ocean’ posters they made this morning.

  • Commonwealth Games Perry attends Sports Day!

    A HUGE thank you to Perry, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games mascot for joining us for our Key Stage Two Sports Day - we loved having you at St. Joseph's! The children are looking forward to learning more about the Commonwealth Games in a special assembly tomorrow morning with one of the event organisers.

  • Sports Day fun for EYFS & KS1

    Sports Day for EYFS and Key Stage One classes was a huge success this morning. The children did SO well, especially in the heat: they were very grateful to receive an ice lolly afterwards to help them cool down! Well done to all the children for taking part and trying their best. Thank you to all the many parents who came along to cheer the children on. We hope lots of parents will be able to join us for Key Stage Two Sports Day at 9.15am tomorrow morning.

  • Sensational salads!
