    Year 6 really enjoyed their science lesson today, using and applying their knowledge and understanding of circuits.

    In Reception, the children have been reading the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. They planted some beans last week and yesterday noticed that some of them have begun to germinate. They’ve been watering and looking after them every day. They have enjoyed making beanstalks with blocks, lego and other materials. The children have also been enjoying playing outside in their small world farm, making up stories and pretending to be farmers looking after the animals.

    UEFA’s Together #WePlayStrong campaign celebrated International Women’s Day 2022 with the launch of a TV advert showcasing the positive impact of football on young girls’ lives. At St Joseph's we decided it was time to introduce Girls Football at lunchtime and were delighted with the response! Go girls!

  • An exciting day on Miss Goodwin's faith journey

    Congratulations to Miss Goodwin who took the next step on her faith journey by attending the Rite of Election today.

    Please pray for Miss Goodwin who will be welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in a few weeks time.

  • League Champions!

    CONGRATULATIONS to our fantastic Year 6 football team on winning the league! We are so proud of them! They played and won their last two matches of the league tonight: St Josephs 6-0 St Giles and St Joseph's 5-0 Beacon.

    We await their well deserved winners trophy after not being beaten in a single game this season!

    A huge thank you to Mr Davies and Mrs Corfield for their coaching and support. Mrs Hinton and Mrs Hannett have promised the team a special treat in recognition of their outstanding achievement.
