    Year 5 listened to some incredible music, reflecting the theme of 'This World' this morning at Symphony Hall in Birmingham. They found out about the different instruments and sections that make up a symphony orchestra.

    Year 5 have a great view of the orchestra at Symphony Hall this morning. They are excitedly waiting for the concert to start!

  • Homes for Hedgehogs!

    Year 3 have been reading 'The Hodgeheg' by Dick King Smith. The children decided they wanted to create homes in our school garden for any hedgehogs who might like to live in the school grounds.

  • Where the Bees fly Drama project

    Over the last two weeks, each of our KS2 classes have enjoyed taking part in a drama project called 'Where the Bees Fly', focusing on the theme of Climate Change. It has been a great opportunity for the children to develop their Geographical and Scientific understanding of climate change but also to interview an actor, learn more about the theatre and to grow in confidence when speaking and performing. Well done children!

  • Y4 retelling 'The Anointing of David'

    Year 4 have been learning about the Anointing of David in their RE lessons. They enjoyed retelling the story through drama.

  • Chinese New Year storytelling in Nursery

    In Nursery the children have heard the story behind the animals for Chinese New Year. As the teachers read the story, the children acted out the movements and sounds of each of the different animals. Can you spot the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig?
