Children's Mental Health Week 2025
Thu 06 Feb 2025This year’s Children’s Mental Health Week theme is Know Yourself, Grow Yourself. The more we can understand about ourselves, the more prepared we are to express our emotions and take on life’s ups and downs. Year Four have been completing some activities to help them explore their different emotions and grow themselves.

Year Two Celebration of the Word
Thu 06 Feb 2025The liturgy leaders in Year 2 this week planned and delivered a lovely prayer and liturgy all about the parable 'The Lost Sheep'. Children thought carefully about what Jesus' message was and reflected upon how God loves and cares for us all just like the shepherd cares for his sheep. The children came up with some wonderful I wonder questions about the parable and sang beautifully. Amazing work Year 2!

PCSO Reception Visit
Wed 05 Feb 2025PCSO Tony Hinton came to visit us Reception morning as part of their topic 'People Who Help Us'. They asked some very good questions and learnt a lot about the role of the emergency services and why it is so important to be helpful. They enjoyed talking about the different pieces of equipment and uniform that help Tony to do his job and to stay safe too.

Year Parent Reading Lesson
Wed 05 Feb 2025This morning, the parents of our Year 5 children joined in with their reading lesson. The children are reading the novel The Last Bear and were answering questions about vocabulary. Well done, Year 5, your behaviour was exemplary and you were enthusiastic with your reading

Pilgrims of Hope
Mon 03 Feb 2025Inspired by our Jubilee retreat day, representatives of CAFOD Club, Mini Vinnies and KS2 Liturgy Leaders met today to reflect on the three things we have been called to do this Jubilee year-prayer, social action and fundraising. They thought about what we could do over this year as a school community.
