Year 2 really enjoyed their recent art day with the focus 'Explore and Draw'. The children learnt about the work of two artists - Lorna Crane and Nicola White who use natural resources to create their art. Inspired by these artists, the children created their own pictures using natural resources. The children were then introduced to sketching pencils and they had a go at some continuous line drawing which at first was very tricky to do. To finish their fantastic day, they created pictures of wax resistant autumn leaves.
