  • Carbon Monoxide Safety with the CO Crew!

    Earlier this week, Year 5 participated in a Carbon Monoxide Workshop. They found out what causes Carbon Monoxide to be produced, how it affects our health and how we can detect it and protect ourselves against its effects. They produced posters and had great fun using their drama and performance skills.

    Our first 'Stay and Play' of the year was a lovely opportunity for 2 - 3 year olds to come into school with their parents, have fun and make new friends. Thanks to everyone who attended. We look forward to seeing you again next Wednesday 8.45am - 9.45am!

  • Keeping Walsall tidy!

    Our Key Stage 2 pupils were visited by Walsall Council today who spoke to them all about litter and the effects it has on our environment. The children are all looking forward to helping keep our environment clean, safe and tidy by not dropping litter and safely picking up any litter we see.

  • Making their own Owl Babies

    In Literacy, Reception have been learning about the story, Owl Babies. They spent time outside and making some of their own owl babies using pinecones, feathers and lots of glue. It was lots of fun and a little bit messy!

  • Rocket Powered Cars STEM Workshop

    Years 5 & 6 also learned about breaking the land speed record and worked hard to design and build rocket powered cars today! After adding rocket fuel to their vehicles, they raced them outside on the playground, achieving speeds of over 50mph! They thoroughly enjoyed their learning and developing their Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths skills (with a bit of artistic flare thrown in too)!

  • Microbit computing in Years 5 & 6

    Today, Year 5 & 6 took part in computing workshops using Microbits. They learnt how to use a Microbit and how to control the different variables. They had a fantastic time and really learnt a lot – they are looking forward to using Microbits in their computing lessons later this academic year.

  • Virtual Visit to the British Museum for Year 4

    Year 4 had a virtual lesson from the British Museum in London today, finding out about Temples in Ancient Greece.
