  • May Devotion to Mary, Our Blessed Lady

    This afternoon we celebrated our May Devotion to Mary, Our Blessed Lady. Thank you to Year 6 and Fr. Craig for leading us in such a beautiful liturgy. It was lovely to be joined by so many parents and parishioners too.

  • Year 2 Science - Louis Pasteur

    In Science, Year 2 have been learning about the scientist, Louis Pasteur. They used glitter to investigate how germs spread and then talked about the importance of washing their hands.

  • Year 1 Parent Workshop

    Year 1 also enjoyed their parent workshop on Friday thinking about plants and flowers. They enjoyed different craft activities and planting 'cress heads' - they are looking forward to being able to eat their cress once it has grown!

  • Year 4 Parent Workshop - The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

    It was lovely to see so many Year 4 children and their parents enjoying their Queen's Platinum Jubilee themed workshop in school on Friday afternoon.

  • Gold coin winners!

    We were delighted to hand out gold coins this morning to children who have shown determination, kindness and excellent attitudes towards their learning. Well done, children! We hope you enjoy your new books.

  • Reception Parent Workshop

    Reception parents were also in school yesterday, joining their children for lots of minibeast fun! The children and parents especially enjoyed making bird feeders and minibeast hotels to take home to encourage God's wonderful creation into their own gardens or nearby outdoor spaces.

  • Year 5 Parent workshop

    Year 5 worked with their parents in school yesterday to make Tudor shields with designs to represent themselves. The children enjoyed working with their parents, showing off their artistic skills and letting some of their parents show theirs too!

  • Year 3 Visit to Walsall Lock Flight

    Yesterday, Year 3 visited Walsall Lock Flight on the canal. They found out how a canal lock works and enjoyed looking at the wildlife along the canal towpath and in the water. The children walked approximately 5 miles and considered how spending time walking along the canal is good for both their physical and mental health. They have been challenged with the task of encouraging their families to spend time along by the canal and sharing their learning with them.

  • Year 6 Residential Visit to Whitemoor Lakes

    Year 6 have had an AMAZING time at Whitemoor Lakes! The rooms and facilities were fantastic. The children enjoyed three fantastic days taking part in a wide range of activities -  climbing, caving, abseiling, zip wire, canoeing, circus skillls, archery, team games, canoeing, raft building and even managed to fit in a disco and a camp fire! 

     

    The children were visited by a member of Archery GB , who was so impressed with their archery skills, she presented them with a special wheelie bin archery kit to take back to school! 

     

    We are very proud of our Year 6 children who showed determination, resilience and a willingness to give everything a go. We are also delighted that their excellent manners and behaviour were commented on by many of the centre staff. Well done, Year Six!

  • Year 2 Parents Workshop

    Thank you to all the Year 2 parents who came along to join in with the Family Learning Workshop this afternoon. We're not quite sure who was having the most fun making lighthouses, the parents or the children! It was fantastic to see so many parents in school learning alongside their children.
