May Procession led by Year 5
Thu 04 May 2023Thank you, Year 5 for leading us in a beautiful May procession this afternoon. It was lovely to see so many of our families joining us for this special devotion to Our Lady. A big thank you to everyone who sent in flowers and plants to honour Mary. The children will enjoy planting them around the school grounds tomorrow.

Year 4 Viking Day
Thu 04 May 2023Year 4 had a fantastic time learning about the Vikings and their invasion of Britain, yesterday. They found out about some traditional Viking activities, had a go at writing Kenning poems and played a board game. They also re-enacted some famous battles, including the Battle of Hastings and listened to stories from Norse mythology. Finally, they got to see Viking armour and weapons, before finishing the day with a demonstration of a beheading (an axe chopping a melon! ). A great day was had by all of Year 4!

Year 5 measuring forces using Newton meters
Tue 02 May 2023Last week, Year 5 were learning about measuring forces using Newton meters. They measured forces acting on objects in their classroom. Well done, Year 5!

Learning about the coronation
Tue 02 May 2023Today, Y5 participated in a Coronation Workshop hosted online by the National Archive and Westminster Abbey. They explored historical documents to discover the history of the coronation and what will happen at the coronation of King Charles at the weekend.
