Thu 21 Oct 2021 Mrs Hannett

Yesterday some of our Year Three and Four children competed in Walsall’s Football Festival competition. Eight other schools were in attendance and we competed in three matches. The weather was far from ideal and came down heavily for most of the tournament.

Despite the challenging conditions they all represented the school with excellent behaviour and sportsmanship throughout and even won all three matches with some excellent scores!

A special mention has to go to Mason for a final winning goal within the last 30 seconds of the third match!

  • Thanking God for the Harvest - Mini Vinnies in action!

Thu 14 Oct 2021 Mrs Hannett

We celebrated a very special, beautiful mass in school this morning -it was the first time we have been able to gather for a whole school mass in over 18 months! It was a truly joyful occasion.

The children read, joined in with the responses and sang beautifully giving thanks to God for the Harvest. Fr. Craig helped us to think about the importance of caring for God's creation so that all of God's creatures have enough food to eat.

Well done to our Mini-Vinnies for organising a fantastic collection for the Good Shepherd, Wolverhampton. Thank you to everyone who so generously donated food and toiletries to help those in need in our local community. #faithinaction
