Learning about Democracy -MP visits Y6
Mon 12 Dec 2022Year 6 had a very special visit on Friday from Valerie Vaz, a local MP for Walsall. She spoke to the children about her life, politics and democracy. The children asked her amazing questions and she was impressed with all of the amazing discussions we had. Well done Year 6!

KS1 Nativity Joy!
Wed 07 Dec 2022Congratulations and thank you to Year 1 and 2 for telling us about the birth of Jesus yesterday and today in their Nativity performances! Our audiences left school filled with joy! Well done to all the children and staff for their hard work, it was absolutely AMAZING!

Year 2 Science investigators
Wed 30 Nov 2022Year 2 conducted an experiment to find out which substances were soluble and insoluble. They concluded that salt is soluble because it dissolved in the water. The rice did not dissolve when it was stirred so it is insoluble.

Football Tournament at Bescot Stadium
Tue 29 Nov 2022Yesterday, some of our Key Stage 2 children represented the school in a football tournament at Bescot Stadium. They played brilliantly as a team, had fun and were a credit to the school and their families.

Living sustainably - Christmas card ideas
Thu 24 Nov 2022As a school community, we continue to look for ways to 'Live Simply' and sustainably. We know that giving Christmas cards spreads a great deal of joy but we also think now is a good time to reflect on whether we could reduce the number of Christmas cards that get sent into school each year. We want to protect God's wonderful creation - the world we live in, for the children in our school and for many more generations to come. We have some alternative suggestions to consider below... and in helping to save the planet, they might also save you some money too! We are not trying to spoil anyone's fun... and the decision is entirely up to you!

Y6 Screen printing
Thu 24 Nov 2022Year 6 have been learning how to screen print in art this half term. They really enjoyed creating their designs and printing them! Well done, Year 6.

Year 2 Bubble investigators!
Wed 23 Nov 2022In Science, Year 2 carried out an experiment to find out which mixture made the best bubbles. They found out that the hand soap made the most bubbles and the washing up liquid made the least. These results surprised them!
