  • Year 4 Continuous line drawing

    In Art, the children in Year 4 have been learning about continuous line drawing and mark making using pen. They used the skills they have developed to copy an image of their choice.

  • Reception class visit to St. Joseph's Church

    Reception class had a wonderful time at St Joseph's Church this morning. The children were incredibly well behaved and very excited! They remembered lots of things from their RE lessons and asked Fr Craig some very interesting questions. Some of them even got to play on the organ!

    Thank you Father Craig for making them feel so welcome, they are looking forward to visiting again some time soon!

  • Y6 WWII Parent Workshop

    Year 6 enjoyed their WW2 parent workshop last week. They made Blitz art and made models of a spitfire plane. It was lovely to see so many parents keen to get involved!

  • Year 2 Drama in RE

    Yesterday in RE, Year 2 acted out the story of Peter in prison. The children performed beautifully and took on the characters in the story brilliantly. Well done Year 2!

  • Year 3 Writing

    After reading the story 'This Morning I Met a Whale' by Michael Morpurgo, the children in Year 3 wrote a diary entry from the perspective of the little boy, Michael. Miss Edwards was very impressed with all the grammar they had learnt and applied into their writing.

  • Year 6 Musical Talent!

    Our Year 6 class are not only talented singers; they also play a range of musical instruments really well too! They have been working on 4 pieces of music to play for their Level 4 London College of Music exam. This medley of songs by Queen is their favourite piece.

  • Walsall Junior Singing Festival

    Year 6 will be representing the school at the Walsall Junior Singing Festival on Friday. Here they are rehearsing 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley. We're sure they'll do a great job.

  • Lots of learning in Nursery!

    There is always lots going on in Nursery! The children have been enjoying their learning indoors and out, learning about Pentecost, summer picnics, weight, working in teams to build planes, ships, trains and towers, enjoying nature and developing their fine motor skills by threading, cutting, writing and drawing.

  • Reception class summer learning fun!

    Reception have been exploring capacity in maths recently. They had a race to see which team could fill their container the quickest using different sized cups. Their 'Under the Sea' topic has been very popular so far. They have been using their fine motor skills to sew their own fish teddies and have been exploring the new role play area using masks and snorkels!
