English
In our English lessons we will be writing our own wishing tale based on our model text.
We are learning how to use time conjunctions, conjunctions and adjectives in our writing.
Spellings
Maths
In our maths lessons this half term we are learning about:
- Place Value
- Addition and Subtraction
- Multiplication of 2, 5 and 10
Science
In Science we will be learning all about 'Materials' including the properties of their materials, what they are suitable for and how they are used in different ways. We will then be learning about the Scientist Charles Macintosh.
Geography
In Geography this half term we are learning all about 'Villages, Town and Cities'. We will be finding out about where people live and exploring the different features of settlements. We will then look at the land use within a city and think about some advantages and disadvantages of living in different settlements.
