Can I just say year one! I am very pleased with the children who have sent me some of their fantastic work via the email and on Purple Mash. Keep up the great work guys :-)
Literacy
Challenge!! Can you follow the easy steps from the powerpoint or video and make your very own Stick Man? By simply using some sticks collected from your garden or whilst out on your daily walk. I would love to see some pictures of you with your Stick Man.
When you have made your Stick Man can you write down some simple instructions for somebody else to follow?

Grateful and Generous
Pupils are growing to be grateful for their own gifts, for the gift of other people, and for blessings of each day; and generous with their gifts, both now and in the future.
What does this mean?
Catholic Schools help their pupils grow by encouraging them to know and be grateful for all their gifts, developing them to the full so that they can be generous in the service of others.
We have been thinking about Christmas and what Christmas means to us. This lesson we will be thinking about how grateful we are for being given the gift of Jesus the Son of God and how we feel about Angel Gabriel's important message to Mary.
Please watch the video. Think about how Mary is feeling and what Angel Gabriel says to Mary to help reassure her.
Angel Gabriel by Carol Tarlton
This painting was created by the artist Carol Tarlton and it is a painting of Angel Gabriel.
What do you like about the painting?
How does it make you feel? Why?
Do you think you could create a picture of Angel Gabriel in the same style? Use what you already have at home (pens, paints or crayons)
