Home Learning - In the event of class/ school closure
Hello, Year One!
I hope you are all keeping safe and well!
As we won't all be together for a while, you will find the links and instructions for your work which you can do at home on here. You will be set different learning activities to complete each day. Please try your best to complete the tasks set everyday and if you have any problems please do contact the school.
If you want to send in any work by email or just want to send an email to let us know how you are getting on, you can email us at Year1@st-josephs.walsall.sch.uk.
Take care and stay safe.
I hope we are all back together very soon!

The link below is for the interactive maths website - Numbots. This website helps to support the mathematical development of counting, addition and subtraction.
Your child has their own personal log-on details which have been placed in the front of their school planners.
RWI Oxford Owl Reading Books
When you go to log on you need to select Student and then enter the following details:
Once you have logged on, you will enter the home page where you will need to select the Read Write Inc eBook Library tab. This will then take you to the RWI eBooks for you to access.
This website is used for your child to access work set by us or to access Purple Mash to complete online games and activities. Your child's log on is in the front of their planner.
If you click on the '2Dos' tab at the top of your page, it will bring up the activities we have set to be completed.
Please note: I have made a class Blog for the children in year one to add comments to, which I thought was a good way to be able to catch up with one another. You can access the blog by clicking on the shared tab on the home menu on Purple Mash located at the top of the page. When you click on the shared tab it will give you two tabs and you will need to click in the tab that says 'Shared Blog' and in that drop down box you will see a rainbow with a 'Hello Year One' blog. Whilst in the blog you can click on the green plus (+) button and there you will see a message box whereby your child can add a message.
