Today I would like you to have a think about the following questions below and discuss them with an adult.

Q1. Why did Sam plant the sunflower seeds?

Q2. Where did Sam go to buy the sunflower seeds?

Q3. Why do you think the seeds did not grow for a while?

Q4. How did Sam help the sunflowers to grow?

Q5. What happened when the bud opened?

Please watch the RWI video clips below about how to read Green Word Time 1.6 words and how to spell them for writing. We have placed an exercise book in your home learning packs, which will help you to write the words in so you can see your progress and hard work.

Today we are going to be recapping our learning on Symmetry.

Can you remember how we can tell if a picture is symmetrical? Talk about this with an adult.

Today I would like you to have a go at exploring symmetry in different ways on the link below.

Have a go at each level – see if you can make a symmetrical picture, shape or pattern!

I would also like you to log onto Numbots (See link below) and have a go at playing in Story Mode. This is a great online game for you to practice your counting, addition and subtraction skills!

Today I want you to watch the video clip below which shows you what happens at a Baptism.

When watching the video I want you to think about the key features of a Baptism and the key items that are used – this will help you remember what we learnt about on Monday in the Baptism power point.

I want you to remember that during a Baptism, we are welcomed as members of God’s family.

With an adult I want you to talk and discuss the following questions:

Q1. Why is a Baptism so important to us?

Q2. Why are we given a special (Christian) name by God at our Baptism?

Q3. What special names have your family been given by God?

Today for music, I would like you to watch the video (see link below) and watch Mr Hall sing the Coca-Cola song with you. See how much of this song and the actions you can remember – have fun!

Screen Free Friday afternoon!

Every Friday afternoon we would like you to have some time away from a computer/tablet or phone screen and have some time enjoying practical activities you enjoy.

This can be, playing with your toys, playing a board game, playing outside, colouring, dancing, reading a story, or anything that brings you joy and isn’t on a screen!

Please use this afternoon to spend time doing something you enjoy and have fun!
