We took part in a Computing workshop, learning all about animation 😊
We learnt about the history of Big Ben through archive footage. A presenter interviewed an historian, an engineer, an electrician and a project manager to find out what has been happening on the restoration project of Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower over the last 5 years. The lights of the clock will now be led and colour changing for special events. We also found it very interesting that the belfry bell has a large crack in it from the old striking hammer! And that each clock face has its own room.
