English:
I would like you to watch the video below which will read the story The Tiny Seed to you.

When you have listened to and read the story, I would like you to think about what could happen next to the seed. You can be as creative as you like – the seed could even go on an adventure!
I want you to draw what you think will happen to the seed. Where will the seed go next? What season will the seed travel in? What adventure will happen?
See if you can write a simple sentence to describe what could happen to the seed next.

Maths:
I would like you to have a go at completing one page in the maths book today.
Please remember to come and collect your home learning pack so you can complete this activity today.
I would also like you to log onto Numbots (See link below) and have a go at playing in Story Mode. This is a great online game for you to practice your counting, addition and subtraction skills!
Topic:
Today in our topic lesson, we are going to be learning about the life cycle of a sunflower plant.
I would like you to look at the power point (see below) and learn the cycle a sunflower goes through from a seed to a plant.
There are many new words in the power point that I would like you to have a go at learning and remembering.
Once you have looked through the power point I would like you to draw the life cycle of the sunflower – there is an example on the last page of the power point.
Try to have a go at labelling the stages using your phonics to help you.

Today for music, I would like you to watch the video (see link below) where Miss Ridley will be teaching you how to explore drumming. Have fun!
