Y1 Parent workshop
Wed 24 May 2023Year 1 invited their parents into school today to help them create ocean themed recycled artwork. The children and their families used recyclable items from around the house to create wonderful, inspiring art to remind us all to protect our oceans. Thank you to all the parents and carers that attended.

Y6 Laudato Si' artwork
Wed 24 May 2023During Laudato Si Week, Year 6 used the theme of ‘Hope for the earth, hope for humanity’ to show how we can save our earth. Look at the amazing art work the children have produced.

Y4 learning about perimeter
Wed 24 May 2023Y4 are learning about perimeter in maths. Today they practiced their measuring skills and worked out the perimeter of some different areas of our school garden. We love learning outside the classroom!

Y4 making switches in circuits
Tue 23 May 2023Year 4 have been using split pins and paper clips to make their own switches to test in a circuit. They understand that metal conducts electricity, so they knew that once the switch was closed (turned on) and the circuit was connected, the bulb would turn on! Well done, Year 4!

Y2 Pentecost artwork
Tue 23 May 2023In their RE lessons, Year 2 have been learning about Pentecost. To end their unit of work, they created some beautiful artwork to represent the Holy Spirit.

Year 5 Vector diagrams in Computing
Tue 23 May 2023Year 5 have learning about and designing their own vector diagrams in their Computing lessons.

Y1enjoying and learning from our school garden
Tue 23 May 2023In our beautiful garden, Year 1 have been drawing pictures of the wonderful plants we have planted. They reflected on the amazing world God has given to us. The children have also made watering cans out of recycled milk bottles and are enjoying using them to take care of the plants.

Gardener Speaker visits school
Mon 22 May 2023Last week, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a gardener visitor in school who spoke to them about growing vegetables, fruits and plants at home. All children then planted their own pea plant that they will able to take home and eat when they have grown.

Y2 Art & Science in the garden
Mon 22 May 2023Last week, Year 2 combined their Science and Art lessons and enjoyed sitting in the school garden in the sunshine to sketch some of the plants and trees.

Year 4 First Holy Communion
Sat 20 May 2023Congratulations to our Year 4 children who received their First Holy Communion today. May it be the first of many times you receive Jesus in the Blessed Eucharist. God bless you all.
Also, a big thank you to our fabulous school staff for showing their support to our children who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated staff team.
